Stay organised!

Keep your receipts!

At TA, we use every trick in the book to get you the maximum amount of taxback, including claiming your work related expenses. So if you are labouring, keep your receipts for your uniform and green card. If you’re nursing, keep your nursing registration receipt or your RSA receipt if you’re waitressing. We will include these in the expenses we claim for you. 

Keep informed – make the right choice for you!

We deal with a lot of people who feel disappointed by other taxback companies, either because they have paid a really large fee or have signed up for something without fully understanding so. If you are asked to tick a box with terms and conditions, it may mean you are giving them permission to go ahead and prepare your return, even if you are only making an enquiry! So before you tick the box, be sure to read the conditions fully!

Fruit picking?

Sometimes when fruit picking, you may be sent to lots of different farms by your hostel and don’t get any kind of payslip. If you don’t have any payslips, ask the farm or the hostel, for the farm’s contact details and phone number. That way if you don’t have your documents, we have the phone numbers we need to get your taxback sorted quickly! 

Last, but not least – Don’t listen to the rumours!!

There are plenty of rumours flying about, nearly all of them incorrect. Make sure your travel plans are safe, get accurate information from the experts – we’re only an e-mail or phone call away.
